Ba’t Mabilis Malowbat Yung Bago Kong Laptop?!

Icrs • 2025

Bagong bili pero mabilis mag-discharge?! Bakit nga ba mabilis malowbat yung bago mong gaming laptop?

Modern-day laptops usually tend to need more power. Lalo na kung mas maraming features yung laptop na gamit mo. More features mean the components do more work at siyempre the more draw power needed para mapagana yung mga components na kailangan ng power. Kaya kinakailangan palaging naka-charge.

Enter the components that needs the higher power draw and optimizing your laptop battery usage:

Processor and GPU:
High-performing processors need more power para mapagana. Para ma-reach ng processor ang max performance na kaya nito, kailangan palaging nakasaksak yung charger mo.

For dedicated GPU’s o yung mga laptop na may separate GPU such as MX, GTX, and RTX laptops, mas kinakailangan nito ng mas malaki pang power draw para mapagana. Lalo na kung gumagamit ka ng GPU-heavy programs such as games and editing softwares.

Screen Displays and Speakers:
You may not believe it but yung display mo and volume affect your battery percentage too.

For screen displays, your refresh rate and brightness ang usual na dapat mong i-optimize para ma-lessen ang discharge ng battery percentage ng iyong laptop. If you’re not gaming better turn down the brightness and the refresh rate. Gawin mo munang 60Hz if hindi mo naman need pa ng better refresh rate and turn your brightness to a dimmer level.

For speakers naman, obviously mas kailangan ng power kapag mas malakas ang output ng iyong speaker. Better lower the volume para ma-lessen mo yung power draw ng laptop mo.

Other Parts That Eat Your Power:
Your built-in backlit keyboard definitely hoards power. If hindi mo naman ito need, better turn it off to conserve power.

Running apps also tend to eat power. Siyempre, the more apps and programs you’re running, the more components run at the background. You can turn off these programs sa task manager.

Some Things to Keep Your Laptop Battery in Check
Here are some things to keep your laptop battery in check para hindi palaging 100 to 0 ang battery percentage mo.

Check your MUX Switch
Sa mga selected gaming laptop models may hardware to switch from your dedicated GPU to your integrated GPU and vice versa. Kung hindi ka magra-run ng mga GPU-heavy programs, we suggest na i-off mo na lang muna si dedicated GPU to conserve more power.

Manage Your Temps
If your usual temps are too high, we suggest na get yourself a cooling pad. More power equates to more heat and more heat means higher power draw. More heat also means na mabilis mag-degrade yung battery health mo.

Conclusion
Always remember na ok lang na nakasaksak ang isang laptop when using it. Especially if gaming laptop yan dahil mas maraming components ang gumagamit ng power. Make sure optimized ang temps mo to prolong your battery health. In the long run magde-degrade din kasi ang battery health ng laptop mo.
